Crazy Christmas Socks

I have to say that I have loved knitting these socks.  It was my first time knitting with size 0 and I wasn't so sure I was going to like it.  Not as bad as I thought.  It was also my first time knitting with my new Sock Rockets.  These are fast needles.  Like really fast.  The joins are better than average - they aren't really seamless, but they are pretty close.

I'm not sure what was going on with the lighting, but that is one fuzzy picture.  But you get the idea.  They are fraternal twin socks.

I thought my eyes were fuzzy because it was still morning, but clearly that wasn't the case.  I guess the good news is that my eyes aren't as bad as I thought.

The bad news?  These socks are huge.  I  mean like they could fit Michael Jordan - he could put these on OVER his Jordans and still have room.  I cast on 66 stitches because I was knitting with size 0.  I cast on 60 when I knit on size 1.  Makes sense?

I don't care.  I'm love them.  I am wearing them.

Some people stuff their bras.  I will be stuffing my socks this holiday season.

They are very cute. But the miss matched stripes would drive me crazy. I have such a hard time deciding how many stitches to cast on too. I usually surf around to find socks in a similar gauge and size, then us my usual formula for the rest of the sock.

Some days the knitting just seems to want a fuzzy picture :)

Love those stripes! Sorry they are too big but I'm glad you are going to wear them anyway!

I love your Christmas socks! I probably won't be knitting mine until after Christmas, but I'm glad I get to admire yours!
