10 on Tuesday

10 Favorite Musicals! I had to participate in this one. My favorites are mostly ones that my daughter has performed in.

1. Bye Bye Birdie. This was her first performance when she was 7 years old and she had a blast. "We love you Conrad, oh yes we do..."
2. Annie. I still can't listen to Hard Knock Life without getting a tear in my eye thinking about my little "orphan" singing and dancing on the stage. Great Christmas time show for sure.
3. A Christmas Carol. For those of you living in the Providence RI vicinity - you know that Trinity Rep does this (sometimes musically) every year. And every year it's different. The year Nicole did it there was a lot of music. And a lot of time dedicated to that performance starting in mid summer. It was amazing to see everything that goes into a "professional" show.
4. Rent. Nicole's high school was the first in our area to perform it in school. Some mature subject matter involved for sure but they held workshops afterwards for the kids for question and answer sessions. The music was awesome!
5. Wicked. We saw this a couple of years ago to see what all the hype was about. It lived up to it all!
6. Fiddler on The Roof. We did this when I was in high school (no I did not sing and dance on stage - pigs would fly first people). I was in the make up department.
7. Grease. A classic! Although it was the movie that I fell in love with.
8. High School Musical. Nicole did this a few years ago and the music was real catchy!
9. Beauty and The Beast. This was the first Broadway musical we took Nicole to see. The look on her face was priceless.
10. The King and I. We saw this in elementary school and I just loved it!

And now that life is slowly going back to normal around here - we can return to some regular blogging! See you later in the week for a big catch up!
