We Interrupt Regular Knitting For A Cute Moment

It's still loads o' knitting here. Nothing for me though. Cowls are done and on the way to the intended recipients. Knitting for school spirit week and seniors on the hockey team is complete.

Not very exciting but loved by the kids nonetheless.

Enjoy your Halloween tomorrow and the beautiful Autumn season.

I Could Not Resist

While having an hour to kill while Nicole was at hockey practice I came down to the beach to finish up the birthday cowl. I couldn't resist some beach photos as soon as I bind it off.

Excuse the lack of blocking.

Lots of Knitting

It's been knitting and spindle spinning around here. I barely touched my wheels all summer. I just had this overwhelming urge to drop spindle.

My grand plan is to do some Christmas knitting this year. Lots of socks planned and neck warmers. Great stash buster! I truly have a problem even going to a yarn shop lately. I just have so much at home. Especially sock yarn. I'm still planning on going to the 1st Annual New England Sheep & Wool in November though. But I turned down an invite to Rhinebeck this weekend. It's all about moderation right?

I'm working on a birthday cowl for a friend we recently visited in Lake George. It was my first visit in the area. Isn't it beautiful?

We had gone boating and my friend complimented my cowl and how her and her husband would love them for snow mobiling over the winter. So stash diving I did. I started this one over the weekend.

I had bought the yarn years ago to make myself a scarf and frogged it last winter.

And look at this stitch marker.

How cute is that? That was from Sarah as well as the basket. And I would link to her blog but I still haven't figured out how to do that from my phone yet.
