Where Have I Been??

Ripping this shawl out - 4 times! Look at it - admire it - enjoy it - cause off to the frog pond we go again. I started the Entrelac Stole and couldn't get the pattern, got frustrated and ripped. Did a ribbed pattern - it was bunching up too much. Tried another ribbed pattern and that didn't work. So back to the entrelac. And I like it! Problem - I won't have nearly enough yarn if I keep it the width I have it at now.

So rip again. I think I will go back to the sock I have working on to keep me sane. Check out the pooling on this one.

And I am anxious to start this, because I needed some more sock yarn you know.

And I have another project I am itching to start but you will never guess what it is. I will give details tomorrow (or the next time I post because tomorrow on Knit 1 Spin2 is never the next day!)

Results of the Weekend

In addition to all the fun I had this past weekend with the gurlzzzz I did do alot of spinning. One pounds worth to be exact. I really wish I could remember which vendor I bought this from at Rhinebeck.

The blending is really cool. I only ended up with about 600 yards so I don't think I have enough to do the Tasha Tudor Shawl I was thinking of. I thought of Lady Eleanor but I am still too short for it. Any thoughts???

A Great Weekend!

Just got back from our Spinning Retreat. We had such a great time. See the evidence below:
Karen became a spinner with her new wheel

Bracelets were made

Of course there was spinning

It was so great to spend a weekend just relaxing, getting some projects accomplished, and being with friends. It was tough to leave but great to come home to my family.
